bioMax Rocket
UASB SYSTEM
An advanced upflow anaerobic sludge bed reactor (UASB) technology, with an integrated proprietary bioscrubber for combined ultra high purity biomethane and biofertiliser production
BioMax Rocket UASB high-rate reactors are the leading technology for anaerobic wastewater treatment processes, realising the potential in wastewater for energy (biomethane), nutrient recovery and water reuse.
Factory built and tested units, ready for plug and play operation for low setup and operating cost, with large volume throughput of high BOD wastewater.
Reactor sizes: 95-200kLĀ
A high-rate, tall, slender reactor for anaerobic wastewater treatment that efficiently converts organic pollutants (COD/BOD) into biogas in an oxygen-free atmosphere. Bacteria form granules that settle to create a high concentration of biomass.
The design handles high volumetric loading rates while maintaining high treatment efficiency. It is ideal for applications with space constraints and height limitations. It can be adapted to a rectangular configuration.
Uniquely suited to treat high salinity, nitrogen and sulphur waste streams
High biogas output, plus biofertiliser product for full circularity. Maximum gas bubbles through a granule sludge bed, result in maximum water cleaning for easy post treatment and water reuse potential
Excellent biomass capacity for stable digestion
Low energy requirement for operation
Superior gas and liquid separation of high strength wastewater streams
Completely closed reactor to minimise emissions
Compact design with small footprint
Efficiently handles high COD load with low retention time
